Dennis Tan and Wilson Tham Join Leading Network Security Vendor to Accelerate the Enterprise Market Penetration and Solidify Market Presence

MALAYSIA, 16 December 2008 - Fortinet® - the pioneer and leading provider of unified threat management (UTM) solutions, today announced the appointment of two new channel sales managers for Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei. Dennis Tan has been appointed as Fortinet's channel sales manager for Singapore, while Wilson Tham is the company's channel sales manager for Malaysia and Brunei.

Both Tan and Tham will play crucial roles in driving various key initiatives and programs with local channel partners to accelerate the adoption of Fortinet's multi-threat security appliances in their respective countries. As Fortinet's new channel sales managers, they will take on the responsibility of recruiting, managing and expanding the capacity of Fortinet's channel partners within their territories, while driving market demand by interfacing with new and existing customers.

Prior to joining Fortinet, Tan was an accounts manager with Ingram Micro, where he was responsible for driving business initiatives with local and global Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) in Singapore. He collaborated with Oracle, HP and IBM to create joint go-to-market strategies in order to build and capture market share.

Tham will oversee the channel partners program in Malaysia and Brunei and comes from a global data centre solutions company. Prior to joining Fortinet, he was the mid-market manager in charge of developing and managing the company's collaboration with key global partners such as Dell, Ingram Micro, CSC and Jardine One Solution (JOS).

"We are pleased to have both Dennis and Wilson onboard. Their solid sales experience will greatly benefit the company as we move forward to building a stronger presence for Fortinet in Southeast Asia. By collaborating better with our partners and creating strong end customer demand, we will be able to accelerate the adoption of Fortinet's multi-threat security solutions among large enterprises and service providers," said Benjamin Teh, Fortinet sales director for South Asia.
